A first impression is made within seconds and can be the difference between making a wonderful experience or losing a client. By ensuring that the porter has the right level of skills, through training and continued assessment and evaluation, we’ll ensure that any hotel brand is protected and the clients return time and time again.
We equip with first-class skills to provide the best customer service, showing guests or passengers to their rooms or cabins and answering any questions they may have about the facilities.
As a porter, you will serve as the first point of contact that guests or passengers have at a hotel, motel, or cruise ship, making them feel welcome and comfortable at their choice of accommodation.
There are a number of areas in which a hotel porter will require training. These can include:
- Communication, Etiquette, and Front of House Skills
- Team Work, Management and Staff Hierarchy
- Problem Solving
- Dealing with Requests and Challenging Situations
- Physical Training (such as correct ways to lift bags or unpacking/packing for guests)

Timetable
Lessons are conducted from Monday to Friday. Maximum 3 hours a day. You can only come if your booking is approved and ready to start.
